A new way to get fit or the same blatant association to gentlemen’s clubs? Well here is my very small take on it.
A few months ago, I was asked to set up a photoshoot for a local pole fitness group. The girls involved wanted images making that showed their progress and general skill level since starting their pole journey. What I witnessed during my day with them, was not a question of pole “dancing”, there was no eroticism or sexuality often associated with the usual bachelor party or boys night out, what there was, was incredible strength, self confidence, fluidity of movement and creativity.
Each girl had a thirty minute time slot for their shoot and I can tell you that after those thirty minutes, every single one of them were physically knackered. The effort put into getting into each move and holding it whilst I made an image was incredible and I take my hat off to them.
Here are a few of the images from the day.
