There’s a reason for everything we do, never forget what it is.
In 2014, I made a huge decision that would affect not only myself but my family too. That decision was to leave a secure, full-time job, to follow my passion and to fulfil my dreams and ambitions. At the time I was uncertain of where this decision would lead me and just how many obstacles I would need to overcome, however having finished my BA (Hons) degree with a First in Media, Moving Image and Photography, and having secured a lecturing role at a local college, I feel confident that I made the right decision.
I’m not afraid to say that I’ve worked my ass off during these last four years, and I’m not about to stop now. I’m chasing ambition and I’m pushing for everything I believe I’m capable of. Yes I work long hours and yes I often bring work home, however, I haven’t forgotten why I do it all.
Spending time with family and being able to enjoy the times we have is amazing, plus the skills I’ve pushed to develop during the last four years are allowing me to capture them in a whole new way!
